I generally work on stretched canvas, but to do my mixed media work, I need a firm surface, especially to work large. I bought these curved cradled panels, some 30 by 30, one 30 by 40, and I am very impressed by the quality of the woodworking that went into these. The curved surfaces are well supported by the structure. The edges are smooth, needed only a very light sanding. The concave and convex panels that were the same size were nestled face to face, which is a great way to transport them. Be aware that the pointed edges need to be handled carefully to keep them from getting dinged up. I have now sealed them front and back, and put gesso on the painting surface. They are lighter than I expected, and are going to give my artwork a very dynamic look. Excited to start painting on them this week!

Screens were packed well and seemed to be very professionally stretched on un/warped light weight aluminum frames. Haven’t printed them yet, but seems they will work well. Very happy with every aspect at this point.
