For all of you who love painting, I wanted to share my story about using Sunbelt Mfg Co's stretched canvas and frames. A good friend of mine, Jack White, master oil painter from San Antonio, Texas introduced me to Sunbelt Mfg Co in 2008. I was getting my wildlife out into the public on eBay and so as a painter of birds I was marketing about 70 of my original oil paintings a year on eBay. Most of my success is based not only on my painting skill, but one of the keys is using a premium stretched canvas. At very affordable prices, great customer service and very fast shipments. I also use many of their custom frames and one of my favorite i=s their Pecan frame just really goes so well even when varying my color palette whether I use warm or cool colors. So is in a way a very universal frame that is very high quality. Being made in America has a great all American story and a great tradition. I do not like a soft or round edge to my stretched canvas and seems a lot of the suppliers use manufactures that do make them that way. Sunbelts uses a very square edge and so when using their gallery wrap and their floating frames has a very crisp and sharp look. They pay attention to their corners too so important if you are not framing. I just painted a 9" x 12" x 1/4" panel of birch wood they provided and I use this to paint duck stamp painting that have a 1/4" thickness specification. A great surface to paint, I use a special seal process before coating my finishing layer. Jim Springett
